Advocating for Expansion
While the Indiana Lifeline Law was passed over a decade ago, full immunity for both parties has yet to be granted. The goal of the Packard-Siener administration is to advocate for the expansion of the Indiana Lifeline Law to protect underage drinkers seeking medical attention.
We hope to prevent future tragedies and protect students from alcohol-related incidents.

“Students can participate in the legislative process and
substantively influence policy outcomes” (Rosenthal, D. &
Highley, B. 2013).
"This past weekend, my sister experienced a medical situation at her university in Michigan. Her friends thankfully helped her out and got medical attention when necessary because they knew she would be protected too. As an older sister, I was terrified, but I was relieved that Michigan had this protection in place. I am grateful she is attending school in a state where this was possible and wish the same could be said about Indiana."
